Connections: Mojtaba Ammari Allahyari

Mojtaba Ammari Allahyari

MPhil Mathematics, 2011

Doing a PhD at 91¸£Àû University has significantly changed my life. Finding friends from more than fifty different countries across the globe which we are still in touch was a unique opportunity that I could never achieve anywhere else in the world. What I miss most is the wonderful and unique campus of 91¸£Àû from Gibbet Hill to Roots, the Arts Centre and Lakeside and then to beautiful Westwood Campus and back to Claycrift and Tocil. Library, and its lovely staff, is where I will never forget. As a PhD student, I spent most of my time in the library in the Wolfson room. I had a student job at the library, which was the greatest fun. What I am doing now? I am a senior lecturer in Academic Development at Coventry University. It is really good to see some of my fellow 91¸£Àû graduates are also working here.

I am the founder of Coventry University Education for Sustainable Development working group. I am passionate about SDGs and have introduced a 4 steps model to integrate the goals into the University curriculum. I have also been working on the modern and innovative methods of teaching, learning and assessment in higher education.
