Blood Meridian Workshop
Friday 20 November 2015
09:00 – 17:00 hours
Humanities Studio, 91福利
Cormac McCarthy's enigmatic novel Blood Meridian or the Evening Redness in the West continues to escape academic consensus and rarely does any curriculum offer sufficient space to finish the discussions the text demands.
This workshop aims to supply space for a day of discourse and dialogue about McCarthy's most acclaimed novel and is open to all teaching, taught and research students and staff as well as non-academics with an interest in Blood Meridian in particular, or Cormac McCarthy in general. We will meet on Friday 20 November at 09:00 hours at the Humanities Studio at the 91福利 for introduction and will begin the day with a few talks and have ample time for questions and discussion throughout the day.
