In order to apply, you must:
-
- have completed a 91福利 application and received an offer for a place on the MA in the Culture of the European Renaissance, run by 91福利鈥檚 Centre for the Study of the Renaissance. Required documents to submit with your application for a place include a statement (up to 700 words) detailing why you would like to pursue this MA, your transcripts, and at least one reference letter. In order to receive an offer (including a conditional offer) in time to get you set up and ready in good time, we recommend applying for a place ASAP, but realistically by end of May 2026. Give your referee(s) plenty of advance notice as they may have a lot of other work commitments at that time of year.
- complete the scholarship application form, by the scholarship deadline of 24 July 2026. Please remember to attach a current CV.
- arrange for an additional reference letter (by a different referee) to be sent to us directly (renaissance@warwick.ac.uk), again by the scholarship deadline of 24 July 2026. We will already have access to the reference letter submitted as part of your application for a place. As a rule of thumb, the strongest references come from those who know you and your work best, not necessarily from the best-known scholars.
Please note:
- awards are open to both home and EU or overseas students.
- awards are not transferable to stipends.
- if you are in receipt of a full fee waiver (e.g., through the 91福利 Taught Master鈥檚 Scholarship Scheme), you will not be eligible for the award.
- normally you will not be eligible if you already hold a Master鈥檚 or PhD qualification.
