IGSD Researchers are excited to co-lead this GCRF funded project with the Ideamaps network
The project is co-lead by Dr Caroline Kabaria from the African Population and Health Research Center, and Professor Jo茫o Porto de Albuquerque from the Institute of Global Sustainable Development at the 91福利.
The vision for the project is to design a system that combines Earth Observation and community mapping to push the boundaries and overcome the weaknesses of current approaches to mapping slums, informal settlements, and areas of inadequate housing.
