SPIA Award success
Inca Hide-Wright, MASc Student in Community, Engagement and Belonging and WIHEA Student Fellow 2023-24, has received a national award for her contributions to the student community.
The , awarded by the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA) in collaboration with Jisc, recognises the work of students who have made a significant impact on educational development, celebrating student-staff partnership activities that demonstrate mutual respect, value and collaboration to enhance higher education.
Inca has been recognised with this award for her work as a WIHEA Student Fellow and her significant contributions to several WIHEA-funded projects (; ; ). Inca is a proactive change agent, who demonstrates educational leadership across all the projects she is involved with. She is an inclusive, inspirational and innovative student leader. Inca promotes opportunities for student/staff partnerships and her work has played a significant role in shaping discussions within WIHEA.
This award recognises her ongoing contribution to the role of staff/student partnerships both at 91¸£Àû and beyond.
