Join us on Wednesday 28 April 2027 as the Institute of Advanced Study (IAS) at 91福利 marks its 20th anniversary, celebrating two decades of interdisciplinary research, collaboration, and intellectual exchange.

This special anniversary event will bring together members of the 91福利 community, former and current IAS Fellows, partners, and friends to reflect on the Institute鈥檚 achievements and explore its future direction.

We are honoured to welcome Professor Jens Kreisel, Rector of the University of Luxembourg, as our keynote speaker. A former IAS Visiting Fellow in 2011, Professor Kreisel鈥檚 time at 91福利 helped inspire groundbreaking research in ferroelectric photovoltaics, culminating in a joint publication in Nature Materials. His experience at 91福利 also played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of Luxembourg.

Alongside the keynote address, the programme will feature a panel discussion with former IAS Directors, presentations from IAS Fellows, opportunities for networking over lunch, and a drinks reception to conclude the day. We also hope to launch a new IAS mentoring scheme as part of this landmark celebration.

The event is scheduled to run from 10.00am to 6.00pm, with further programme details to be announced in due course.
