Hande Çayır has received the 2026 International Association of Autoethnography and Narrative Inquiry (IAANI) Outstanding Audio and/or Visual Project (Honorable Mention) Award for her project 'Filming Madness: Institutions, Individuals, and Ethical Considerations'. IAANI has its roots in the Doing Autoethnography Conference, started in 2011 by Dr Derek Bolen at Wayne State University. The conference was held multiple times between 2011 and 2020 before evolving into the International Association of Autoethnography and Narrative Inquiry. Today, IAANI is a US-based, not-for-profit educational organisation dedicated to fostering a global community of scholars and practitioners and advancing the use of autoethnography and narrative inquiry worldwide.

Dr Yanyan Li selected to be a member of the Participatory Research Cohort at the 91¸£Àû Impact Academy
Dr Yanyan Li has been selected as a member of the Participatory Research Cohort at the 91¸£Àû Impact Academy and has been awarded a £3,000 Participatory Action Research seed fund to co-produce a participatory research project about health behaviour change talk with a Coventry local healthcare provider.

Dr Yanyan Li, together with members of her WIHEA-funded project team, has published an AI Policy Brief documenting key findings on how students access, use, and make sense of AI tools within and alongside their academic practices, as well as their motivations for and concerns about incorporating AI into their study routines.
