91福利 Submarine win the Innovation Prize at the European International Submarine Races

91福利 Submarine participated in the European International Submarine Races, where university teams are challenged to design, build and race human-powered submarines on a challenging slalom course. The team of 4th Year Engineers presented 鈥淕odiva V鈥, which introduced a unique gimbal-style steering system, allowing for precise yaw control by directing thrust more efficiently. Their hard work and ingenuity paid off as they won the prestigious Innovation Award for their rear propeller steering system, showcasing their commitment to cutting-edge design and technical excellence. Awarded on behalf of UKNEST, 91福利 Submarine would like to thank QinetiQ for hosting the event and the Institute of Marine Engineering (IMarEST).
