Early health technology assessment using the MAFEIP tool. A case study on a wearable device for fall prediction in elderly patients
Since 2014, Prof. Pecchia had the privilege to work with the European Commission JRC for the design and development of the .
After many years, and Prof. Pecchia decided to that generated the first case study used to test the tool and drove its first piloting.
After 6 years of work, the Commission made the tool compulsory for H2020 2019-2020 proposals in the area of digital health (i.e., SC1-HCC-05-2018, SC1-DTH-05-2019, SC1-DTH-10-2019-2020, DT-TDS-01-2019), which accounted for 鈧�96million of investment in research and innovation in 2 years. This tool will play an important role also in Horizon Europe calls.
