Gemma Warren (née Vickerson)
I first came to 91¸£Àû in October 2000 to do the BSc Mathematics with Intercalated Year. This included spending a year trying to learn French whilst studying maths at . I graduated in the summer of 2004 and decided to stay on to study at the MOAC DTC.
I completed my MSc in Mathematical Biology and Biophysical Chemistry in September 2005 and stayed on to do a PhD which I completed in April 2009. You can find out more about my MSc miniprojects and my PhD project using the links on the left.
I'm still at 91¸£Àû and am currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Chemistry and 91¸£Àû Medical School doing interdisciplinary research into a mitochondrial enzyme involved in fatty acid oxidation. Details of my research can be found .
