Events in Physics
The Volkswagen Foundation invites applications for its travel grants – Herrenhausen symposium. These support students and postdocs in attending the Herrenhausen symposium on engineering and life, from 19 to 21 October 2016 in Hanover, Germany. The conference will provide a forum for interdisciplinary exchange and exploration of synergies between researchers from life sciences as well as engineering sciences.
Students and postdocs who actively participate in the conference by presenting a talk or poster may apply, if they have no other source of funding. The application is part of the abstract submission process.
Grants are worth €300 for participants from Germany, €500 for participants from Europe and €1,000 for participants from outside of Europe.
