The Wellcome Trust invites applications for its cryo-electron microscopy equipment grants. These support structural and cell biologists who want to use cryo-electron microscopy equipment in their research.
Applicants must have an academic research post or equivalent, a track record in getting grant funding, and a salary in place for the duration of the award period. Co-applicants without salary support may apply if they have at least one year’s personal salary support on the proposed start date of the grant.
Grants are worth between £500,000 and £4 million over a period of up to five years. Host organisations are expected to contribute at least 20 per cent towards costs if grants are worth more than £500,000.
