Events in Physics
The Science and Technology Facilities Council invites applications for access to the Artemis laser facility. Funding enables researchers to access the Artemis laser facility at the Central Laser Facility, STFC during the period April to September 2017. They will be able to conduct experiments related to ultra short laser and XUV pulses, those related to a range of end-stations for time resolved spectroscopy in gases, liquids and condensed matter and for XUV imaging. The Artemis facility offers the following two beamlines:
•monochromator beamline for photoelectron spectroscopy and photoemission;
•XUV wavelength beamline for high harmonic generation spectroscopy and imaging.
