The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility invites applications for beam time under its standard projects and block allocation group. This offers access to beamlines in operation at the ESRF. Requests for beam time are based on shifts of eight hours. Allocations are usually in multiples of three shifts. Standard proposals may be related to condensed and living matter science. Block allocation group proposals are only for macromolecular crystallography.
