Transiting exoplanets
The transit of some extra-solar planets across the face of their parent stars provides the observational means to determine their fundamental physical properties. A large number of transiting planets have been discovered during the last three years, and I will describe how these are improving our understanding of exoplanets in general. I will place particular emphasis on results from the Wide Angle Search for Planets (WASP) survey.
