Events in Physics
The American Physical Society invites nominations for the Irving Langmuir prize in chemical physics. This recognises and encourages interdisciplinary research in chemistry and physics.
The biennial prize is made to one person who has made a contribution within the ten years prior. Nominations of qualified women, members of underrepresented minority groups, and scientists from outside the US are especially encouraged.
The prize consists of USD 10,000 and a certificate citing their contributions.
