The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, through its resource allocation panel, invites proposals for top-up grants for the Advanced Research Computing High End Resource. These enable investigators on existing EPSRC grants to access ARCHER for a maximum period of two years in order to meet their current grant objectives. Computing resources on ARCHER are awarded in kilo-allocation units, with one kAU representing a measure of relative performance of ARCHER based on a range of benchmarks compared to previous national services.
