Events in Physics
The Daphne Jackson Trust and the National Physical Laboratory invite applications for their sponsored fellowship. This enables professional scientists, engineers, technologists and mathematicians, returning to their careers, to balance an individually tailored retraining programme at the National Physical Laboratory. Fellowships consist of a research project and at least 100 hours of retraining per year.
Applicants must have been on a career break for at least two years for family, caring or health reasons, and must hold a good first degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics subject, and hold a PhD degree or at least three years of research experience prior to the career break. They must be resident in the UK with the right to remain indefinitely.
Fellowships are part-time over two years.
