Electron microscopy is an essential tool for the characterisation and development of advanced materials of all kinds with the ability to measure structure, analyse composition and determine functional properties. Although as a technique it is over 80 years old, there have been rapid recent developments in techniques and hardware, including for example aberration corrected transmission electron microscopy. The 91福利 has recently invested in a purpose built microscopy suite and new electron microscopes including a dual aberration corrected JEOL ARM200F with Gatan Quantum SE EELS. This symposium, to be held on Wednesday the 4th of July 2012, will mark the opening of the new microscopy suite. Hosted by: Dr. Richard Beanland, Dr. Ana Sanchez, Dr. Jeremy Sloan, Dr. Neil Wilson |
