How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

ERC Consolidator Grants are designed to back up researchers who want to establish their research teams and continue developing a successful career in Europe. The scheme also strengthens independent and excellent new individual research teams that have been recently created.

ERC Consolidator Grants in brief

  • Eligibility: researchers of any nationality with 7-12 years of experience since completion of PhD (extensions are possible – see the latest ERC Work Programme for details), a scientific track record showing scientific talent and an excellent research proposal
  • Location: research must be conducted in a public or private research organisation (known as a Host Institution/HI). It could be the HI where the applicant already works, or any other HI located in one of the EU or
  • Funding per grant: up to € 2 million
  • Duration: up to 5 years
  • Sole evaluation criterion: scientific excellence of researcher and research proposal
  • Calls for proposals: published once a year
