How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, under its Future Photonics Hub and in collaboration with the Physics and Technology of Metadevices and Metasystems Programme Grant and the Silicon Photonics for Future Systems Programme Grant, invites proposals for funding from its future photonics partnership fund. This supports the inclusion of academic partners that bring additional value to EPSRC-funded projects. Applications are invited for funding under the following three funds:

•Future Photonics Hub Innovation Fund, with a budget of £260,000, for research into high-performance silica optical fibres, light generation and delivery, silicon photonics manufacturing, large-scale manufacture of metamaterials, 2D materials and advanced materials, flexible photonics, nanostructured photonics, or hybrid displays or a combination of these topics;

•Metadevices and Metasystems Programme Grant Innovation Fund, with budget of £40,000, for research focusing on the integration of metamaterials with fibre and quantum technologies;

•Silicon Photonics for Future Systems Innovation Fund, with a budget worth £50,000, for research into wafer-scale testing of photonic components, multi-layer 3D photonic platforms, novel silicon photonics modulator architectures and coding formats for high capacity transmission, advanced packaging solutions in silicon photonics, and integrated optical sources.
