How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

The UK Space Agency invites applications for the Aurora science programme. This supports science associated with

planetary exploration to enhance the UK’s capabilities and cross-disciplinary approach to planetary science. Applications are particularly welcome in:

•TGO data exploitation including support for selected TGO interdisciplinary scientist or guest investigators;

•preparatory activities for InSight and the ExoMars rover;

•activities in support of European Space Agency prospect user group;

•underpinning science.

Funding may support: fellowships for early-career researchers or for existing academics to discipline-hop; postdoctorate research assistants to support academics on Mars-related science; support for academics to participate in international science teams; project studentships to develop researchers to exploit data sets.

Academics and individual scientists, from the UK or overseas, working at a UK research organisations may apply.

Funding for postdoctorate research assistants may be available for up to three years, whereas funding for fellowships may be offered for up to three years, but can be held part-time for up to six years. ]

Projects must demonstrate the development of propulsion technologies based around one or more of the following technology areas:

•internal combustion engines;

•lightweight vehicle and powertrain structures;

•electric machines and power electronics;

•energy storage and energy management;

•alternative propulsion systems.
