The British Council, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Newton Fund invite applications for attendance at their UK-China workshop on shaping low carbon energy future under the Newton Fund Researcher Links programme. Funding enables researchers to participate in a three-day workshop held in Belfast, UK, from 28 to 31 August 2016 on the future of low carbon energy. The workshop includes keynote speeches, industrial exhibitions, knowledge transfer training, technical presentations and posters, panel discussions, break-out brainstorming, academic visits, formation of consortium and specific task groups, networking events and social visits. Early-career researchers based in the UK or China may apply. Grants cover all travel and accommodation expenses. |
