Issues of equality and diversity might not seem at the forefront of our everyday working lives- but maybe this is simply because these get overlooked in the stress of our workplace environment? Ironic perhaps, when our responses to that stress feed into exactly that debate..
I saw this piece in The Guardian today: and was particularly interested in the gender section towards the end. Admittedly, this might be because I tend to diffuse my stress by letting off 'emotional' steam; this seems very natural, authentic response for me-and not an issue of professionalism or gender-stereotyped behaviour at all.
Does anyone else have any thoughts?
