The new institute incorporates 91福利 Systems Biology (WSB) and 91福利 Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research (WIDER), bringing together two arms of 91福利's strong research base in mathematical approaches to biological and medical science. Led by , the Zeeman Institute for Systems Biology & Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research (SBIDER) will use mathematics, statistics, computer science and interdisciplinary science to address and understand challenges in biology and epidemiology with the ultimate goal of controlling disease.
