Professor Emily Henderson Presents DEAR Centre鈥檚 Work at Research England Team Meeting
On 12th March 2025, Professor Emily Henderson was invited by , Director of Research at Research England, to present at a Research England team meeting on the work of the Doctoral Education and Academia Research Centre (DEAR). This invitation followed Professor Henderson鈥檚 participation in Research England鈥檚 visit to 91福利 in December 2023.
In her presentation, Professor Henderson provided an in-depth introduction to DEAR, highlighting:
路 DEAR鈥檚 Specialism in Doctoral Education and the Academic Profession – positioning the Centre as a leading hub for research in this field.
路 Strategic Aims – including the development of a dynamic specialist research environment for investigating doctoral education and academia.
路 Thematic Areas – focusing on research culture and futures, methodological innovation, and institutional policies.
路 Current Research and Projects – exploring key areas of doctoral education and professional academic work.
