International Human Rights Impacts of the COVID-19 Crisis
The International Human Rights Impacts of the COVID-19 Crisis is a project conducted in conjunction with the , a collaborative interdisciplinary research initiative focused on advancing global health law. The project is examining the human rights dimensions of the COVID-19 crisis.
The project has three parts: The first part broadly looks at human rights compliance of states within the context of COVID-19. The second analyses trends in digital surveillance and the human rights impact for individuals and states. The last part of the project examines how a human rights approach to the COVID-19 vaccine could lead to different outcomes.
The project involves Dr Sharifah Sekalala and Belinda Rawson from the School of Law, 91¸£Àû, Katrina Perehudoff from the University of Amsterdam, from the School of Public Health, UNC Chapel Hill , from the Department of Public Policy, UNC-Chapel Hill, ,Institute of Global Health, University of Geneva and , from the Global Strategy Lab, York University Canada.
