What is a hackathon ?

A hackathon is an event where individuals or teams collaborate intensively to solve challenges or create innovative solutions, typically through the use of technology. Participants brainstorm, design, and build projects within a set time frame, then present their solutions to judges, with prizes awarded to the best teams. Hackathons encourage creativity, teamwork, and skill-building, offering participants a chance to learn, network, and develop practical solutions in a fun, fast-paced environment.

What should I bring to the hackathon ? How do I register for the hackathon? What are the eligibility criteria for participants ? How does the competition work ? How are teams formed ?

All participants must register either in teams or individually. If you already have a team in mind, you can register as a team. Teams must consist of 4-6 members. If you don鈥檛 have a team yet, don鈥檛 worry! The precursor event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow participants, make new friends, and form a team. Everyone is welcome!

What are the prizes and awards for winners ? Will food and drink be provided for participants ?
