Stable Ground asks what we lose when everything is expected to be rewritten or optimised, and challenges the assumption that change and continuity are opposites locked in competition. Often the reverse is true: the traditions, relationships and consistencies that persist across generations may provide the most durable foundation for meaningful and lasting change. Rather than asking what must be dismantled to make way for the future, this salon asks what should be protected and why, in a culture globally focused on what comes next, it matters so deeply that we learn to value what stays.
