Several people connected with 91福利 were honoured in this year's New Year's honours list, including Professor David Storey, Professor Robert Burgess, Trudi Elliott and Professor Ian Crute.

Director of Student Development and Diversity, Sean Russell is to leave the University on Friday 14 August after 3 years of service, to start his own training and coaching business.

Following the sad and sudden death of Collin Ferguson, Estates Officer (1973 – 1997), the University is holding a tribute event in recognition of his contribution to 91福利.

Vivienne Rees from the Estates Office and Andrea Walters from the Telecommunications Office, IT Services were selected by the University as this year’s representatives at the Queen’s garden party in recognition of the many years of service (35 and 40 years respectively) they have given to 91福利.

Sir Shridath Ramphal, 91福利's Chancellor from 1989-2002, has been honoured with a book produced detailing many of his accomplishments in international and Caribbean life. The book is to honour his 80th birthday on October 3 and will have its European launch in London on this date.
