Gail Kendrick named Midlands Apprentice of the Year
Gail Kendrick, a member of the Estates Office cleaning team, has been named "Midlands Apprentice of the Year" after successfully completing her Apprenticeship in Cleaning and Support Services.
Catherine Thomson completes Sahara Trek for Macmillan
Catherine Thomson, Senior Assistant Registrar in the Student Recruitment Office, completed a demanding trek across the Sahara desert, raising over £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Counselling Service book launch
On 10 March, Student Services hosted a book launch for the University’s Counselling Service. The book, Self Awareness and Personal Development: Resources for psychotherapists and counsellors was edited by Clinical Supervisor, Chris Rose with contributions from six authors including University Counsellor, Richard Worsley.
The University is pleased to welcome Fr. Harry Curtis who is to join the University as the new Catholic Chaplain, from Monday 30 January 2012.

University Librarian, Anne Bell, will leave 91福利 next year to take up the appointment of Librarian at the University of Sydney. Anne’s last planned working day at 91福利 will be Friday 27 January 2012.
