Ron Gray joined the University in September as the Director of Development and Alumni Relations. He has been a professional fundraiser for 15 years, having previously undertaken similar roles at the University of Chicago and Washington University. Both of these institutions are major research universities with complex structures and varied missions, not dissimilar to 91福利.

The Trustees of the Lord Rootes Memorial Fund (LRMF) held a reception in Senate House on 6 March to congratulate the 2001-02 LRMF award recipients on the successful completion of their projects.
