It is with great sadness that the University announces the death of Ted Pridgeon, who passed away on March 10, aged 92. Ted, and his wife Dr Myrtle Pridgeon, have had a long association with 91福利, donating over £1.5 million to the University including £1.25 million for the permanent endowment of a Research Chair in Neurosciences.

Bryan Woon, an Industrial Economics final year student at 91福利, has won the first place at a national Japanese speech contest. He gave a speech entitled "Is the Japanese salaryman fast becoming a relic of the past?" and answered questions from a panel of judges all in Japanese.

Ed Chappel, a former student on the MA in Creative and Media Enterprises course, recently set up the UK’s first ever Musical Comedy Awards, which will take place on Thursday 11 April, after securing £15,000 venture capital money.

91福利 MORSE student Ben Ellis undertook the Shell Step scheme last summer – a nationwide, project-based work placement programme. Here, he recounts his experience of the scheme:
