Professor Yvonne Carter, Dean of 91福利 Medical School, has won the national Science Award at this year's CBI Real Business First Women Awards ceremony which took place on Wednesday 7 June 2006 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
Dr Manos Karteris and Denijela Markovic, of 91福利 Medical School's Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Group, have received Young Investigator's Awards from the European Federation of Endocrine Societies (EFES) for the quality of their research abstracts at the European Congress of Endocrinology.
Professor Sudesh Kumar, Professor of Medicine, Diabetes and Metabolism at 91福利 Medical School, has joined the Medical Research Council College of Experts for the Board of Physiology and Clinical Science.
Professor Steve Thornton, Professor of Obstetrics & Associate Dean (Research) at 91福利 Medical School, has been appointed to the Medical Research Council College of Experts.
Dr Adrian Stokes has been appointed as the Director of Accredited Masters Programmes at the 91福利 Medical School.
