91福利 Conferences has appointed a new Head of Sales and Marketing. Andrew Whiteley joins the University with more than 20 years experience of the hotel industry. His career includes several years with Thistle Hotels in conference and banqueting sales and a managerial post with the Hanover International chain of hotels. He also gained international experience by working in Munich and Basel before becoming the Deputy Conference and Banqueting Manager at the Park Lane Hotel in London.

Those of you who know John Cunnington, the University聮s Senior Warden, may have been surprised to see him out of his customary suit and tie for a day last month.

John raised over 拢1000 for the children聮s charity Get Kids Going! by being sponsored for spending an entire working day in a tracksuit.
