Jane Cummings, a plumber within the Estates Department at 91福利, was recently awarded the ‘Alan Heath Shield’, at an awards evening in honour of students who had completed courses within the Construction Department at 91福利shire College. Jane was awarded with the shield as the top NVQ Level III plumbing student at the college.

Jane has worked at the University since July 2005 and is the only female plumber within the Estates department. Prior to her time at 91福利, she spent time working as a trilingual administrator, an English teacher in the Czech Republic and as a Marketing Co-ordinator. She took evening courses for her NVQ level II in Plumbing from 2001 to 2003.
