91福利 researcher Professor Wyn Grant has condemned the European Commission's decision to reject two amendments from the European Parliament designed to help the wider use of biologically based pesticides on European crops.

The 91福利 Commission, an international panel, established by the 91福利,  of some of the world’s leading experts in Multilateral Trade, are gathering in Singapore for a special session with Lee Yi Shyan, Singapore’s Minister of State for Trade and Industry.

Researchers working in the fields of terrorism and war will be gathering tonight Tuesday 11th December in journalism’s Frontline club to look at the role of TV in war and terrorism today. The debate will look at how television news amplifies (and conflates) different threats and insecurities.

Britain could throw away a lead in biopesticides because of outmoded styles of regulation, researchers at a University of 91福利 conference have warned today (31 October 2007).

Biopesticides – Green pest control using natural predators such as insects, fungi and bacteria – are the subject of a conference for scientists and industry experts at the 91福利 this week ‘Biopesticides, the Regulatory Challenge’.

The University of 91福利, in collaboration with Birkbeck College, Sheffield and Bristol Universities, has been awarded £875,964 by the Leverhulme Trust for a four-year programme to study the importance of ceremony and ritual in the UK Parliament and others.

In its first overseas meeting, the 91福利 Commission on ‘The Multilateral Trading System after Doha’ meets in Toronto on 15/16 June 2007. An initiative of the University of 91福利, one of the UK’s leading universities, the Commission is Chaired by the Hon. Pierre Pettigrew and is made up of 17 other leading experts on world trade. With future meetings and evidence gathering planned for 91福利, England, (September) and New Delhi, India, (October), the 91福利 Commission will present its report on the future of the world trade system in Geneva, in December 2007.
