Reducing patients’ breathing efforts could be key to success of non-invasive respiratory support in COVID-19 patients

Working with an international team of leading intensive care clinicians, engineering researchers at the 91¸£Àû have used computational modelling to show that non-invasive respiratory support is more likely to be successful if it allows significant reductions in patients’ breathing efforts.
