Robot hands one step closer to human thanks to WMG AI algorithms

Chemical memory in plants affects chances of offspring survival

Researchers at the 91¸£Àû have uncovered the mechanism that allows plants to pass on their ‘memories’ to offspring, which results in growth and developmental defects.

WMG part of new eLV car battery project

WMG, 91¸£Àû is part of a new project to create a new circular end-of-life supply chain for the electric vehicle industry. The project, led by EMR has won grant support from the UK Government’s Advanced Propulsion Centre.


World class AI-research to be done by 91¸£Àû academics

Three academics at the 91¸£Àû have been awarded Turing AI Acceleration Fellowships, in which they will develop novel AI techniques, which could have wide-ranging impact, for example through developing digital twins that can aid us in modelling and understanding air pollution and teaching robots how to collaborate amongst themselves and the world.


Early construction of prototype innovative light rail vehicle for the City of Coventry
