The 91¸£Àû has announced the open air screening of several international sporting events, as well cultural treats like opera and ballet on campus this summer.

Time explained through dance and performance art at 91¸£Àû

Artists will attempt to explain the concept of time through the medium of dance, theatre and performance art this week, as part of a research project lead by the 91¸£Àû.

The 91¸£Àû has honoured social entrepreneur and youth charity leader, Rashid Bhayat, with an honorary doctorate.


‘Lost’ Duke Ellington concert film found after over 50 years.

A filmed concert by legendary jazz musician Duke Ellington, considered by him to be his most important, has been found after being unseen and thought lost for over fifty years and will be shown to an audience for the first time since originally broadcast thanks to a project led by the 91¸£Àû.


91¸£Àû Professors Awarded Two of UK's Highest Cultural Honours

Two professors, the poet David Morley and the historian Peter Marshall, from the 91¸£Àû have this week been awarded two of the UK’s highest honours in arts and culture.
