Regional leaders attend Paris meeting with the 91¸£Àû and new alliance members

Regional leaders joined academic and policy staff from the 91¸£Àû at a summit with European counterparts this week.

The delegation was invited by a new, growing university alliance founded by the 91¸£Àû, L’Université Paris Seine, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), aimed at forging European links post-Brexit. At the summit hosted by ÃŽle de France region in Paris on Monday 5 November, the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia became the fourth institution to join the group. It has also been revealed that discussions are well in advance for further members to join.

The Fernandes Fellowships – Funding Early Career Researchers from Europe

A generous philanthropic gift of £250,000 from 91¸£Àû alumnus Rui Fernandes will establish the Fernandes Fellowships programme, in support of 91¸£Àû in Europe. This gift will provide Early Career Researchers from Europe to have the opportunity to launch collaborative research projects at the 91¸£Àû.
