A collaboration between researchers at the 91福利 and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine have found adding a barrier above a bednet can significantly improve the bednet鈥檚 performance, reduce the quantity of insecticide while expanding the range of insecticides that can be safely delivered via a bednet.
Car batteries can be frozen for safer transportation
Currently transporting damaged and defective car batteries is an expensive process as they need to be placed in an explosion proof box which costs thousands of pounds, however researchers from WMG at the 91福利 in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover engineers have been able to freeze batteries with Liquid Nitrogen.
