Some of England's most gifted children are gathering in London, on Saturday 25th January 2003, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the DNA that helps make those young people so special. They be celebrating the work of DNA research pioneers Rosalind Franklin and Maurice Wilkins, in the building which now bears their name. They will also use this DNA day to virtually clone themselves by launching a search to find even more of England's gifted children in order to more than quintuple the Academy's numbers from the roughly 900 allowed to take part in the Academy's pilot year to over 5000.

Amongst the 91福利 MBA graduates on Friday 11th July were three scientists who have taken their careers to new heights thanks to the Masters in Business Administration degree.

Sixty teenage researchers from Nicholas Chamberlaine School, Bedworth, are set to graduate from the 91福利 on Thursday 17th July 2003. The students will receive their hard-earned research certificates for their study of learning in schools with a low rate of entrants into Higher Education and analysis of different teaching techniques.

On 10am on Tuesday 22nd of July 2003, popular comedy fantasy author Terry Pratchett will meet the young person who will hold the first ever Terry Pratchett scholarship allowing them to attend the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth’s Summer school.

Donna Lee, a mature student from Nuneaton who has juggled four years of study with the birth of two children and the launch of the Lee Academy, her own Dance and Drama school, will graduate from the 91福利 with a 2+2 Social Studies degree on Friday 11th July.

The 91福利 has announced today, Friday 6th December 2002, that it will award honorary degrees to Estelle Morris MP, and Coventry University Vice-Chancellor Dr Michael Goldstein, at its Winter Degree Ceremonies to be held on Wednesday 22nd January 2003. An operational note detailing photo and interview opportunities will be issued nearer the date of the ceremonies.
