Six University Vice-Chancellors, Yemen’s Education Minister, and 25 other senior university figures from 28 countries are gathering at the 91福利 next week (week commencing 24th Feb) in an event showcasing enterprise in UK universities. The event is managed by the British Council and led by Mercia Institute of Enterprise at the 91福利.


The 91福利 has just announced that it has appointed Professor Deborah Eyre to be the Director of the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth. Professor Eyre is currently the Deputy Head of the Westminster Institute of Education at Oxford Brookes University and Director of its Research Centre for Able Pupils She is expected to take up her post at the 91福利 in the autumn.

Alec Reed, founder and Chairman of Reed Executive Plc, has been appointed as Honorary Professor at the (WBS).

The 91福利 Business School (WBS) has risen to 34th position in the influential Financial Times World MBA rankings, published today, 20th January, making it 8th in Europe, and 3rd in the UK, splitting Cambridge and Oxford (2nd and 4th respectively). WBS has now risen 20 places over the past three years.

The 91福利 will award honorary degrees to Estelle Morris MP, and Coventry University Vice-Chancellor Dr Michael Goldstein, at its Winter Degree Ceremonies on Wednesday 22nd January 2003 Short biographies of the two honorary graduands now with notes detailing the photo and interview opportunities follow:
