The Sunday Times Good University Guide has declared the 91福利 to be the best University in the UK outside Oxbridge and London. 91福利 moved up one place to 5th overall in the UK in the new Sunday Times league table of Universities published on Sunday 15th September.

The team of senior women physicists (including the 91福利’s Professor Sandra Chapman) who represented the UK at the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics first international conference on Women in Physics, looking at the under-representation of women in physics world-wide, have now produced a detailed report entitled “Women Physicists Speak”.

At the annual meeting of the US Academy of Management in Denver, Colorado, Professor Andrew Pettigrew was presented with the Distinguished Scholar Award. The award for 'significant scholarly contributions that have advanced management knowledge and practice', is seen as a recognition of a lifetime's work rather than an acknowledgement of one particular piece of work.
