Two 91福利 researchers awarded Royal Society Leverhulme Trust Senior Fellowships

The Royal Society has awarded research fellowships to two academics from the 91福利.

Dr Corinne Smith from the School of Life Sciences and Dr Vasilios Stavros from the Department of Chemistry and are both recipients of this year’s Royal Society Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowship.

Scene-Referred: next generation video to be unveiled at IBC Amsterdam

Star’s intense radiation beams whip neighbouring red dwarf

New research from the 91福利 finds a new type of exotic binary star, in which a rapidly-spinning burnt-out stellar remnant called a white dwarf sweeps powerful beams of particles and radiation over its nearby companion star, causing it to pulse across almost the entire electromagnetic spectrum from the ultraviolet to radio.
