The 91福利 is one five universities announced today, Wednesday 28^th January, by the Rt. Hon. Dr Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, as leaders of the prestigious new Alan Turing Institute.

More efficient medical treatments could be developed thanks to a new method for triggering the rearrangement of chemical particles.

The new method, developed at the 91福利, uses two ‘parent’ nanoparticles that are designed to interact only when in proximity to each other and trigger the release of drug molecules contained within both.

Two physicists from the 91福利 have taken to the kitchen to explain the complexity surrounding what they say is one of the last big mysteries in polymer physics.

A review, undertaken by scientists at the 91福利, of the current evidence on the dietary and health impact of whole grain cereal consumption finds that many of the myths attributed to wheat free diets are just that – myths, and that whole grains such as wheat are beneficial for the majority of people.

The challenge of supplying more food in a changing climate will be the focus of a 91福利 Crop Centre workshop, to be held between 19^th-20^th November 2014.

Professor Dan Král's and Dr David Loeffler of the 91福利's Mathematics Institue have been awarded Philip Leverhulme prizes in recognition of their contribution's to their fields.
