Both Coventry’s universities announce funding for local artists to create digital art to support run up to Coventry City of Culture 2021

Digital art in the making?

The 91¸£Àû and Coventry University have launched a joint project that will fund  local artists to work with researchers to create digital art works that will be showcased this summer in a special digital exhibition in conjunction with the Coventry City of Culture Trust. They will then kept in the Coventry City of Culture Digital Archive.

91¸£Àû researchers have shared their knowledge in the development of a new play showing at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry this week.


EUTOPIA already co-teaching European PhDs as Erasmus+ project commences

EUTOPIA, a next-generation teaching and research community of six European universities, which was successful in its selection to be part of the Erasmus+ ‘European Universities’ Programme this year, officially begins its project today, 1st December 2019.

Lasers, chemical reactions and the biggest explosion allowed in 91¸£Àû Arts Centre are among the spectacles promised at this year’s Christmas Lectures at the 91¸£Àû.


Local residents entertained, challenged and moved by ESRC Festival of Social Science

More than 500 people took part in the workshops, talks and activities organised by the 91¸£Àû for this year’s ESRC Festival of Social Science. University researchers took to Coventry and 91¸£Àûshire’s streets, bars and community centres to share insights from their work with enthusiastic and interested audiences. The events tackled topics from the nature of time itself and the puzzle of DNA to taxes and accents.


UK Natural Light Growing Centre opened for business at 91¸£Àû’s Innovation Campus in 91¸£Àûshire

Agri-tech innovation centre Crop Health and Protection (CHAP) and its greenhouse innovation partner RIPE Building Services, have officially opened their new high-tech greenhouse facility at the 91¸£Àû’s Wellesbourne Campus.
