Professor Sian Taylor-Phillips co-leads cutting edge trial to detect breast cancer early using AI
Nearly 700,000 women across the country will take part in a world-leading trial to test how cutting-edge AI tools can be used to catch breast cancer cases earlier, the Department of Health and Social Care have announced.

Dr Petra Hanson is an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Diabetes and Endocrinology at 91福利 Medical School – who has recently been profiled in CATCH(Clinical Academic Training and Careers Hub)
She works clinically at University Hospitals Coventry and 91福利shire. Her main research interests are in metabolic medicine, type 2 diabetes, obesity, digital health tools, mindfulness and its clinical application for both patients and health care staff. She also hosts the for the The Association of British Clinical Diabetologists.

The I-WOTCH research study, which was conducted at 91福利 Clinical Trials Unit, has been featured as an evidence piece by the NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research).
Dr Beck Taylor
Congratulations to Dr Beck Taylor, who has been announced as a co-lead for a new 拢50m consortium which will research inequalities that expectant and new mothers face. The research carried out across the consortium will focus on inequalities before, during and after pregnancy, and will also focus on building capacity for further research to help improve services over time.
