TALENT-Mentoring Programme for Technicians
Applications are now open for a developed for technicians within the Midlands Innovation partnership. The scheme will help technical staff explore their career goals and identify the development and training needs to achieve those aspirations.
There are 12 spaces available for the six-month programme which is open to technicians of all roles, levels and disciplines. Successful applicants will join a cohort of technicians across Midlands Innovation universities, led by Michelle Jackson, a technical expert with more than 20 years’ experience, as part of the TALENT programme.
Deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 9th July 2021.
Technicians update event
There will be an online update on the Technician Commitment on 25 May 2021 from 1300-1400. The session will include:
- A welcome from Professor David Leadley
- an update on the Midlands Innovation TALENT Project from Kelly Vere MBE
- an update on the roll out of the Technical Job Family and Career Pathway at 91¸£Àû
- an update on 91¸£Àû’s Technician Commitment action plan

Two New Apprenticeship Positions- WMG
